1 cup soy sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. finely grated fresh ginger root
1 tbsp. sliced green onion
1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds (can be optional)
Mix it all up and pour over chicken thighs in a large pot. Cover and boil on low for about 45 - 60 min.
Thicken gravy with a cornstarch and water mix. Serve with rice.
